To find mA for a given pressure in a 4-20 Loop:
ex. 0 - 500 PSI = 4 - 20 mA Span of mA Range
of Pressure ie: 16 mA 500 PSI = .032 mA per
PSI .032 mA X 250 PSI = 8 mA + 4 mA (offset from 0) = 12 mA
or 250 PSI = 12 mA |
